UPTET EXam Paper-I

For Primary Teachers (Class I-V)

  • Applicants should be a graduate from a recognized university. Also, he/she should have 2 years of Nursery Teacher Training (NTT)/CT (Nursery)/BTC. OR
  • Candidates should be graduate with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university. Also, he/she should have a B.Ed degree from NCTE recognized university. OR
  • Graduation Degree from a recognized University with at least 45% marks. Also, applicants should have a B.Ed degree. OR
  • Applicants should be a graduate from a recognized University plus he/she should have Special BTC. Training. OR
  • Applicants should be a graduate from a recognized University plus he/she should have Special BCT Urdu training in UP. OR
  • Candidates should be a graduate from a recognized University plus he/she should have a diploma in teaching (For Urdu Teacher) from AMU.

UPTET Exam Paper-II

Upper Primary Teachers (Class VI-VIII)

  • To register for Primary Teachers (Class I-V), aspirants should be post-graduate from a recognized university. Also, aspirants should have 2 years Diploma in EL. Education (D.El.Ed). OR
  • Candidates should be post-graduate with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university. Also, he/she should have a B.Ed degree from NCTE recognized university. OR
  • Graduation Degree from a recognized University with at least 45% marks. Also, applicants should have a B.Ed degree. OR
  • Aspirants should be graduate/post-Graduate from a recognized University with at least 50% marks plus he/she should have 2-years B.Ed/Special B.Ed. OR
  • Applicant should be Intermediate passed with a minimum of 50% marks. Along with that, he/she should have a 4-year B.A.Ed/BA.B.Ed or 4-year B.S.C.Ed/BSC.B.Ed or 4-year B.El.Ed in Primary Education. OR
  • Aspirants should be graduate/post-Graduate from a recognized University. Also, he should have passed 1-year Special B.Ed.

Q 3. What is the age limit for UPTET Exam?

Answer: Applicants should check their age limitation criteria before applying for UPTET 2019 exam. The minimum age limit of the candidate for the UPTET exam is 18 Years. And,  The maximum age for General candidates is 35 Years. However, the upper age limit for OBC, SC/ST, and Pwd candidates is 38 Years, 40 Years and 45 Years respectively.

Answer: Applicants should pay an online application fee for UPTET Paper-I/Paper-II.

For UPTET Paper-I/Paper-II

  • The application fee for General and OBC category is Rs 600. However, The application fee for SC/ST category is Rs 400 and for PwD category is Rs 100. 

For UPTET Paper-I and Paper-II

  • The application fee for General and OBC category is Rs 1200. The application fee for SC/ST category is Rs 800 and for PwD category is Rs 200. 

Q 5. What is the selection process for UPTET 2019?

Answer: The selection of the aspirants for the UPTET 2019 exam depends on the following stages:

  • The UPTET exam will consist of two papers. Paper-I is for the aspirants who are applying for the UPTET exam will consist of two papers. Paper-I is for the aspirants who are applying for Primary Teachers (Class I-V). And, Paper-II is for the candidates who are applying for Upper Primary Teachers (Class VI-VIII). The candidates who are planning to teach classes I-VIII need to appear for both the papers.
  • The UPTET Result will be declared on the UPBEB official website. To get qualified for the UPTET exam, aspirants must score a minimum of 60 percent marks in the written exam.
